The Oudh Bar Association, High Court, Lucknow Bench held a meeting on 10.09.2023. The meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Mr Anand Mani Tripathi, President of Oudh Bar Association conducted by Mr. Manoj Kumar Mishra, General Secretary of Oudh Bar Association with all other members of the executive committee. As an outcome of the meeting held, the Oudh Bar Association passed a Resolution, saying that the Oudh Bar Association and the entire fraternity at the High Court, Lucknow stood in solidarity among brothers and sisters at Hapur, condemning the “Lathi Charge” on Advocates on 29.08.2023 referring to its resolution dated 29.08.2023.
In the later part of the resolution, the Oudh Bar Association condemns the functioning of the parent body of lawyers. The work and pattern are based on the narration to fade the issue at hand. The executive committee and the members of the Governing Council resolved that they would abstain from judicial work on 11.09.2023. The further course of action shall be decided in the meeting on 11.09.2023.
