The Advocates will be given financial aid to ease their financial burden and support them financially in their daughter’s marriage. The scheme has been named ‘The Daughter’s Marriage Scheme 2025.’ It has been operational since 01 April 2025. Under this scheme, a financial incentive of ₹51,000/- shall be provided. The aid will be given only in cases of those marriages that are solemnised on/after 1 April 2025.
Mr. Manoj Kumar Mishra, General Secretary of the Oudh Bar Association, informed the members about this scheme on 1 April 2025. The scheme is exclusively for the Advocates who are the members of the Oudh Bar Association, High Court, Lucknow Bench. This scheme has been implemented subject to the resolution dated 26.06.2024, passed by the Executive Committee of the Oudh Bar Association. The resolution proposed giving some financial aid in the daughter’s marriage of the members.

The benefit under this scheme can be availed only on the application of the learned member of the Bar Association. Eligible members shall be provided the amount of fifty-one thousand ₹, so fixed considering the availability of funds at present. The scheme objectivates towards an effort on the part of the Bar Association to relax Advocates financially. It will, to some extent, reduce the financial stress of Advocates in their daughter’s marriage.
